Lego is Britain’s #1 Toy

Sunday, July 27th, 2008

Ever wonder what other countries voted their number one favorite toy was? Well it seems someone took a survey and Britain says LEGO is their favorite toy. Course I can’t blame them, I mean they have LEGO for just about everything these days and all characters.

You’ve got plastic bricks that hold together in mini form, regular form, bigger and of course your giant. It’s perfect for all ages which is why it would definitely be a great item for everyone in one household to enjoy. Plus, you’ve got all those competitions to make the world’s largest mall out of LEGO or a mini replica of New York City. Its all about imagination, or seeing if you can follow the small booklet to figure out how to create the object.

Do you have legos in your house? What’s your favorite one?

Hasbro Supports Toys for Tots

Tuesday, July 22nd, 2008

Hasbro dropped me an email showing me their brand new YouTube video for their special summer event. Guess what it is? Ready? It is their campaign for the Toys For Tots this year and of course they have a Marine Drill Sargeant in the front lines.

Now what the video doesn’t tell you is that for every toy/game purchased between now and August 2 (my daughter’s birthday) they will match it up to $400,000. That’s a whole lot of toys for the Toys for Tots. Can you imagine the smiles on those little girls and boys? Even on the teens they will please this year?
