My Little Pony 25th Anniversary Pinkie Pie Plush

I still can’t believe that "My Little Pony" turned 25 years last year, but they did. I remember very fondly how excited I’d get whenever a new one would come into my grasp, it didn’t matter if they were plain, sparkled, had glitter or smelled of cotton candy, each one had a special place in my heart.

Course the actual ponies weren’t sold by Hasbro until 1983 but would last until 1995 before going quiet. But this didn’t stop Hasbro, they brought the horses, aka ponies back out to the public in 1997, only after two years of hiding them. The ponies would continue to sell until 2003. In 2008 it was announced that it was My Little Ponies 25th Anniversary.

In 2008 the following ponies were brought out:

Toola-Roola

Cheerilee

Starsong (a pegasus)

Sweetie Belle (unicorn)

Hasbro has decided to only have 7 actual characters which are: Pinkie Pie, Scootaloo and Rainbow Dash. Any other ponies have been retired, so now more Minty will be made. (my daughter’s favorite)
