Recalls & Toys-R-Us

by

Toys-R-Us has made this statement in regards to all the recalls:

We believe that when a product is recalled, the most important thing is to get that product out of children’s hands. To that end, we have instituted a “no quibble” policy when it comes to toy recalls. This means Toys”R”Us will take back recalled product whether it was purchased at Toys”R”Us or not - with or without a receipt.

We see ToysRUs is behind their consumers and wanting to make this holiday season a safe one for children. What about the rest? As I find more messages I will post them here. Remember folks, if your child gets a recalled product you can exchange it this holiday season. Even if you don’t have a receipt.

Thank you ToysRus!

Kudo’s to Toys R Us, but it is still up to consumers to be vigilent. To help me do that I registered for e-mail alerts at a site called http://www.RecalledToyAlert.com. I have also checked each one of the toys on my Christmas shopping list against their recall list.

While I don’t use Facebook, they do have a link to a Facebook application so I am sure that’s convenient for the Facebook users out there (link was http://www.facebook.com/apps/application.php?id=9311057039)

    Hope everyone finds it helpful!
