Toys “R” Us releases Best of Summer Toys list

by

Hmmm, medium list. It has a bunch of stuff on it that has nothing to do with the summer, the heat, the fun of vacation, just a good PR person compiling stuff that they want to promote. OK, not that I think Toys ‘R’ Us has an ethincal side to it. Here are my favorites from the list:

Crayoa Sidewalk Paint Sprayer

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows
(I really like that they have a book on the list)

Then there were a couple of things that are on the list that fall into that category of “I would never waste money on that for my kids but I know they would have fun with it at a friend’s house”:

Moon Sand: Sand Castle Kit - it comes with special sand that EXPANDS. Isn’t this the kind of technology they are using at NASA? Isn’t regular sand fun enough? Imagine the poor kid who has this and then goes to the beach and is introduced to real sand. What a let down.
